Experience	Rhea has over 20 years of manufacturing experience in small and mid-sized companies and is nationally recognized for his work in transforming small businesses into national leaders.
Areas of Expertise	Rhea’s background is especially strong in strategic planning, lean manufacturing, team-based problem solving and supply chain management. He has managed manufacturing operations that have implemented a wide range of improvements including creating role teams for quality, scheduling, human resources, purchasing, and safety, and has implemented cellular manufacturing across factory floors. He has also implemented ISO 9002.
Accomplishments	Successfully transformed a small company into a nationally recognized leader in the aerospace industry. Reduced vendor base and developed/mentored single source suppliers. Developed Line of Balance scheduling report, allowing operations to forecast incoming orders by part family 30, 60, 90, and 125 days ahead. Created role teams for quality, scheduling, human resources, purchasing, and safety. Implemented cellular manufacturing across factory floor resulting in five part family cells and two processing cells. Implemented ISO 9002 utilizing state grant monies.
